Jeremy Bradley is a sassy Canadian writer and broadcaster who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. An accomplished reporter and outspoken columnist, Jeremy Bradley offers a unique writing style to newspapers and websites. And now his humour can be heard every day on the radio.
Currently a syndicated editorial columnist in community newspapers, website columnist and appearing as a guest editorial writer in publications across Canada, Bradley offers a refreshing point of view not often considered by most readers.
The 26-year-old attributes much of his success to the widely popular SpeakFreewithJB website that has welcomed visitors from around the globe to participate and express opinions on what is happening in the world.
"I've received so many messages from people thanking me for giving them a place to express their opinions in a professional manner and not just have a site for people to randomly bash others or write uneducated opinions," Bradley said in an interview. "And the fact that I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind, others appreciate that and want to do it too. That's why those mean British guys are always the hit on reality shows! People want to hear it like it is."
SpeakFree Celebrity Sightings has drawn viewers by the thousands to check out the candid conversations JB has with today's hottest stars. The unique interviews don't consist of the cheesy Hollywood questions that many reporters ask, it's a much more laid back approach that people appreciate that sees celebrities wanting to talk with JB for hours.
JB's outspoken personality and columns took to the airwaves when "To the Point ON AIR" debuted on Vancouver radio in January 2006. Each Thursday JB's biting commentary is broadcast to the world.
In April 2006, JB launched a radio show called Top of The Charts, which, just like its name, skyrocketed in the ratings, quickly becoming the number 1 show on the broadcasting station. The Top 40 music show features the typical Jeremy Bradley humour with segments like "JB's Now In the News" and "JB's Entertainment Run Down." Just a few short months later, the show was syndicated and continues to broadcast daily on stations worldwide.
In summer 2006 the popular segment "Entertainment Run Down" was picked up by an American radio station and turned into a daily segment. Eight times a day, Bradley reported on the latest celebrity headlines and news from around the entertainment world. Now, the downloadable Entertainment Wrap Up segment is online at www.entertainmentwrapup.com
"I'm very stubborn," Bradley said. "To me, it's never good enough just to have a successful product. I'm constantly looking for ways to develop an idea. Once it becomes a hit I look to snowball it and make it bigger. So not only do I have that with SpeakFree and the launch of the Idol Watch website, but I've got that with "Charts" too. We saw the spinoff with ERD [Entertainment Run Down]."
And yes, there is the odd time when he gets to sleep!
"I've been asked that a lot," JB laughed. "The truth is it doesn't seem like that much work. They call me the "Canadian Ryan Seacrest but I totally disagree... I'm much prettier."
